DAY 1 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the Claridges hotel.

DAY 2 : Delhi to Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, arriving late morning. En- route visit the Amber Fort in the rugged hills that surround Jaipur. A painted elephant will take you up to the fort, with its huge gateways and pillared pavilions. Remainder of the day free. Overnight at the Samode Haveli.

DAY 3 : Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning tour of the city includes the City Palace, with its beautiful courtyards, gardens and residences and its extensive collections of paintings, armoury, carpets and garments in the Sawai Man Singh II Museum. Also visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), a five-storey red sandstone building with an intricately carved faade, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory built by the ruler Jai Singh. Afternoon free. Overnight at the Samode Haveli.

DAY 4 : Jaipur to Ranthambhor

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sawai Madhopur. This is the staging post for mounting safaris inside the nearby Ranthambhor National Park, one of the premier Project Tiger Reserves, and rightly famous for daylight sightings of the Tiger, especially near the lakes and the shaded ravines. Lunch and Dinner at resort. Afternoon game viewing. Overnight at the Tiger Den..

DAY 5 : Ranthambhor

Breakfats, Lunch and dinner at hotel. Morning and afternoon game viewing in Ranthambhor to see more wildlife, including Deer, Wild Boar, Langur and Tiger. Overnight at the Tiger Moon Resort changed to Tiger Den..

DAY 6 : Ranthambhor to Bharatpur

Morning game viewing. Breakfast at the hotel.. Drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of the finest in Asia, with over 350 species of birds. Originally, this manmade marsh was used for duck shooting by the Maharaja of Bharatpur. Afternoon bird watching by boat, cycle rickshaw or on foot. Overnight at The Bagh.

DAY 7 : Bharatpur to Agra

Morning bird watching. Breakfast at hotel. Then drive to the impressively preserved Fatehpur Sikri, founded by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son and heir, only to abandon the city some years later. Continue to Agra, Evening visit to the Taj Mahal, (the worlds most famous mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The white marble monument is greatly enhanced by the soft evening light of the setting sun.) Agra Fort and It-mad Uddaullah Overnight at the Taj View hotel.

DAY 8 : Agra to Khajuraho (Train)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to board Shatabdi Express for Jhansi then drive to Khajuraho. Visit the magnificent temples built some 1000 years ago, depicting erotic themes on their elegantly sculpted walls. The temples are in several clusters and you will have the chance to visit some of the most prominent and beautiful, including the Lakshamana, Kandariya Mahadeva, Devi Jagdamba and the Lakshmi and Varah Temples. Overnight at the Taj Chandela hotel.

DAY 9 : Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh

Breakfast at hotel. Drive south to Bandhavgarh National Park, the former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. The park is dominated by the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort and is noted for Tiger, Gaur, Sloth Bear, Deer, Wild boar and Nilgai Antelope. Lunch and dinner at hotel. Afternoon game viewing. Overnight at the King's Lodge.

DAY 10 : Bandhavgarh

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at hotel. Morning and afternoon game viewing. Overnight at the King's Lodge.

DAY 11 : Bandhavgarh to Kanha

Morning game viewing. Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kanha National Park. Kanha beautiful landscape reminds you of the Jungle Book. Indeed it was the beautiful forests near here that inspired Rudyard Kipling to write the classic book. The park is noted for Langur, Sambar, Chital, Barking Deer, Blackbuck, Wild Boar and Gaur. Predators include Leopard, Wild Dog and, of course, Tiger. Lunch and Dinner at hotel. Overnight at the Celebration Van Vilas.

DAY 12 : Kanha

Breakfast , Lunch and dinner at hotel. Morning and afternoon game viewing. Besides large animals, Kanha is also an excellent place to watch birds including the Painted Partridge, Shaheen Falcon and Golden Oriole. Overnight at the Celebration Van Vilas.

DAY 13 : Kanha

Breakfast, Lunch and dinner at hotel. Morning and afternoon game viewing. Overnight at the Celebration Van Vilas.

DAY 14 : Kanha to Delhi ( Train)

Breakfast at hotel. Later drive to Jabalpur to board the Gondwana Express train to Delhi. Overnight on the train.

DAY 15 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi early morning. Transfer to your hotel. Delhi is a mixture of the old and the new. Old Delhi is a bustling city of crowded bazaars built by the Mughal emperors and New Delhi is a distinctive metropolis of wide avenues, landscaped gardens and stately monuments built by the British (by architects Lutyens and Baker). Rest of the day free to relax or to explore the city. In the evening a farewell dinner, Overnight at The Claridges.

DAY 16 : Delhi to Home Country.

Transfer to International airport to board flight back home.
