DAY 1 : Arrive Delhi to Neemrana

Arrive Delhi in the morning You will be met at the airport . Drive to Neemrana. Remainder of the day free to relax and explore the fort. Overnight at the Neemrana Fort .

DAY 2 : Neemrana to Samode

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Samode a rural village near Jaipur. Time to explore the palace, fort , village and Mughal Garden. Overnight at the superb Samode Palace.

DAY 3 : Samode to Dundlod

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Dundlod in the historic and colourful Shekhavati region of Rajasthan. Afternoon visit the frescoed Havelis. Overnight at Dundlod Fort

DAY 4 : Dundlod to Khimsar

Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart to Khimsar, deep in the Thar Desert. The beautifully restored 16th century fort, surrounded by its massive fortified walls, dominates the place. A splendid setting from which to explore the surrounding area. Overnight at the Khimsar Fort.

DAY 5 : Khimsar to Jodhpur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Jodhpur, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon free to relax. Overnight at the Bal Samand Palace.

DAY 6 : Jodhpur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the city to see the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort which dominates the city from its hilltop position. Afternoon free. Overnight at the Bal Samand Palace.

DAY 7 : Jodhpur to Sardar Samand (Pali)

Breakfast at hotel. Just a short drive south into the desert to the former royal hunting lodge that is a "monument" to Art Deco style and furnishing. Overnight at the Sardar Samand Palace.

DAY 8 : Sardar Samand to Udaipur

Breakfast at hotel. A full days drive through the Aravali Hills to Udaipur, stopping en route at Ranakpur to see the exquisite stone-carved Jain temples, and Kumbhalgarh to visit the imposing and secluded fort. Overnight at the Shiv Niwas Palace.

DAY 9 : Udaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple. Afternoon free. Overnight at the Shiv Niwas Palace.

DAY 10 : Udaipur to Dungarpur

Breakfast at hotel. Drive south to Dungarpur noted for excellent birdlife around the lake. Overnight at the Udai Bilas Palace.

DAY 11 : Dungarpur to Bijaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Bijaipur, a tranquil 16th century village south of the historic Chittor fort. Overnight at the Castle Bijaipur.

DAY 12 : Bijaipur to Deogarh

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Deogarh, visiting Chittor en route. Overnight at the Deogarh Mahal, noted for its miniature paintings.

DAY 13 : Deogarh

Breakfast at hotel. A free day to explore the village or go bird watching. Overnight at the Deogarh Mahal,

DAY 14 : Deogarh to Roopangarh

Breakfast at hotel. Drive north east to Roopangarh near Ajmer. The 17th century fort still retains its Rajput heritage. Overnight at the Roopangarh Fort.

DAY 15 : Roopangarh to Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. A half days drive through the desert to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Overnight at the Samode Haveli.

DAY 16 : Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the Amber Fort outside the city and climb the steep path to the gate on elephant back. In the afternoon a city tour includes the Palace of the Winds, the City Palace and the Observatory. Overnight at the Samode Haveli.

DAY 17 : Jaipur to Agra

Breakfast at hotel. By road to Agra stopping en route to see Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Mughal city built by Akbar in the 16th century. Evening visit to the Taj Mahal for sunset. Overnight at the Trident hotel.

DAY 18 : Agra to Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. Drive to Delhi stopping to see the tomb of Akbar. Overnight at the Oberoi Maidens hotel.

DAY 19 : Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Free day with optional sightseeing of Delhi. Overnight at the Oberoi Maidens hotel.

DAY 20 : Delhi - Home country

Transfer to International Airport to board flight back home.
